Christin Zühlke

Christin Zühlke is a doctoral student at the ZfA of the TU Berlin and a scholarship holder of the Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Studienwerk. Her dissertation deals with the Yiddish writings of the Sonderkommando in Auschwitz-Birkenau. She studied philosophy, German language and literature, and Jewish studies. During her studies, she was active in political-historical educational work, including at Yad Vashem and the Jewish Museum Berlin. In 2014, she was deputy director of the Death March Memorial in Below Forest. In 2016/17, she was a Visiting Scholar at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and is at the University of California, Berkeley this year. In parallel, she is working at the Elie Wiesel Research Center in Tübingen. She is currently working (with Frédéric Bonnesoeur and others) on an edited volume on microhistorical approaches to an integrated history of the Holocaust, which will be published by de Gruyter.
